Sørensen Leather is a global company specialising in high quality leather production. They have collaborated with some the most recognised designers, companies and galleries. Fritz Hansen, Menu, Note design studio, Fogia, and Erik Jørgensen for example.
Sørensen’s headquarters just outside Aarhus, Denmark have recently been designed by Norm Architects. Using their leathers mixed with complimenting materials, Norm Architects have created a soft minimal and warm space to work. A muted colour palette of creams, beiges and browns make this design calm and incredibly stylish. A sophisticated approach to office design may well be the future of things to come.
“Working with leather to create bespoke solutions for a combined office and showroom has been an educational process. Understanding the characteristics of the leather and finding ways to integrate it in the interior: covering the entire conference table construction with soft, semi-aniline leather from the SPECTRUM collection, for instance, makes the form stand out and gives it a delicate touch.” – Laura Bilde, lead designer
