I’m feeling inspired by Scandinavian sophistication. The Scandinavian interiors scene is showcasing so much sophisticated style recently, I just had to share some with you. Abstract art, marble plinths, artisan pottery, luxurious materials, sculpture and stylish lighting. It may all sound a little grand but many Scandinavian designers have pared back the opulence, simplifying with style. With inspirationg buzzing in my head I’ve created a mood board to show that Scandinavian design can be sophisticated, homely and warm with a bit of edge.

Lovely. I’ll take the Harrison chandelier please!
it’s so nice!
I love the Fine Little Day print … I have something similar in the living room, but postcard-sized.
Ooh nice. Very tasteful and classic. I shall be re-pinning some of those I reckon!
Indeed, that is a very sophisticated Scandinavian style! So elegant, pared back and livable with.
Such a gorgeous moodboard!
Lovely! What great finds!
I absolutely adore this little black pyramid! That’s kind of unexpected piece of decoration. I never saw anything similar. Very clean, minimalistic finds, I really like them. Scandinavian designs have something incredible in them. They seem so cold, yet they are really cozy. 🙂 I’m looking forward to your next moodboard.
